Riviera Apartments

Community

• The Riviera is for full-time day continuing students at Brigham Young University.
  
  • Full-time day continuing students are students taking at least 9 credit hours as undergraduate students or 2 credits as graduate students.
  • During Spring and Summer Terms the credit requirement is 4 credits for undergraduate students and 2 credits for graduate students.
• Apartments are available for those who turned 19 prior to January 1, 2025 and returning tenants who have lived on-campus during the Fall and/or Winter semester of a previous academic year.
• Apartments are also available for women eligible for Single Housing.
• Tenants of the Riviera are expected to keep the honor code and maintain the standards of a gospel-centered community.

Room Types

• Apartments at the Riviera have either two or three shared bedrooms and two bathrooms.
• Each room at the Riviera is furnished with two beds, a desk, chair, and closet.
• Each apartment is furnished with a refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, dining table, dining chairs, and seating furniture.
• Rooms come without décor.

• Riviera tenants are encouraged—but not required—to purchase from a wide variety of meal plans to accommodate their dining expenses.
• Riviera tenants share a kitchen with three to five other tenants.
• Laundry facilities are located in the complex.
• Facilities include a fitness center, volleyball court, and clubhouse.
• Rental payments include all utilities, wireless internet access, and Residence Life activities.
  
  • For internet access, tenants provide their own compatible wireless router and connect it to a BYU network data jack in their apartment.
