Rate Schedules in Family Housing

• Payments are due on the first of each month.
• Late fees are assessed after the tenth of each month.
• Due to the nature of the agreement, tenants may not pay rent in advance.
• Rates typically increase 3-5% every year, effective September 1.
• Contracts which begin or end in the middle of the month will utilize a prorated housing charge for that month based on the number of days the tenant is contracted.
• Electricity charges are posted to tenants’ university accounts around the middle of each month, and are due 10 days after the charge is posted.
